Many online home buyers are so savvy they can identify the property they want, find the time to preview the homes at open houses, and even pull their own comparables. Indeed, according to the National Association of REALTORS recent “2015 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers,” [link to http://www.realtor.org/reports/highlights-from-the-2015-profile-of-home-buyers-and-sellers], for “42 percent of recent buyers, the first step that they took in the home buying process was to look online at properties for sale,” while only 14 percent of buyers first contacted a real estate agent.  Online websites were seen as “very useful information sources” by 82% of recent buyers. 

Some online home buyers even feel that there is no need to hire a realtor during the search for their home, and once they have identified a property and are ready to make an offer, they wonder if paying a high commission to a broker to get them from the offer to close is worth the money.   That is where the OC Nest comes in.

Traditional realtors spend thousands of dollars trying to drum up business by littering your mailbox and neighborhood with pictures of themselves and other people’s homes. That is not my style. I offer a more personal approach that is progressive and supportive by partnering and investing in my clients rather than marketing myself.   Instead of trying to prospect for new business through passé marketing materials that end up in the trash, I rely on personal referrals and paying referral fees to those who refer me to their friends.  This business model allows me be present with my clients without having to worry about prospecting for new clients.
